What these terms cover
These terms cover your use of this website. They are not the terms of any building work.
If a job goes ahead, the contract for that job is between you and the contractor doing it, on whatever the two of you agree in writing. Nothing on this page forms part of that agreement, and nothing on this page limits what you are owed under it.
Asking for a price is not a contract
Sending a form or asking what something costs is a request and nothing more. It does not commit you to anything, and it does not commit anybody to doing the work.
Nothing on this site is an offer that can be accepted by clicking. A contract exists when you and a contractor have agreed one directly, in writing, and not before.
Prices and descriptions here are general
Any price, timescale or description on this site is general guidance drawn from typical jobs in the Mission Viejo area. It is not a quote for your job.
Every property is different, and the only figure worth anything is one given by somebody who has seen the work. Please do not budget from a page.
Using this site
Read it, print from it, and link to it freely. That is what it is for.
Do not republish the text or the images elsewhere, do not harvest the site automatically, and do not attempt to interfere with it or with anybody else using it.
What belongs to whom
The text, images, layout and branding on this site belong to us or to whoever licensed them to us. The trademarks of other companies mentioned here belong to those companies.
Links to other sites
Where this site links somewhere else, that is a convenience rather than a recommendation. We do not control those sites and we are not answerable for what is on them.
What we are answerable for
We take care to keep this site accurate and available. We do not promise that it always will be either, and we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it, or from acting on general information here instead of advice given for your own property.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of California, and any dispute about the website goes to the courts there.
Changes to these terms
These terms can change. The date at the top of the page shows when they last did, and the version on the site is the one that applies.
